Tank Repairing Process

The concrete above the tanks is cut and excavated to expose the tanks and new manway installed and turrets fittedĀ to gain access into each tanks for the cleaning and the lining process.

Dip tube and all pipework checked

Any Fibreglass pipework on tanks are removed and replaced by Fluid Installations, tested and approved to be put into service.

Any holes and cracks repaired prior to making the new tank.

Tank preparation prior to fibreglass lining involves pressure washing and once cleaned the tanks are sanded to removed the top layers of resin and then washed with Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) to remove all surface waxes and impurities.

Fully Lined Fibreglass tank either single or double layer of fibreglass as needed. Double coated with Novlac, impervious to Ethanol fuels.

Finished tanks guaranteed for 25 years.

After repair the integrity of tanks and pipes are tested.
